Date
Wednesday Nov 20, 2024 19:00 - 20:30

On November 20th, let us join hands with Mr. Jiulin Yu and embark on an exploration starting from the role of male lead. Taking his iconic portrayals as examples, such as Liu Mengmei in the Youth Version of "Peony Pavilion," Pan Bizheng in the New Version of " A Tale of Jade Clasp," and Xu Jizu in the New Version of "Bai Luoshan". We will traverse on a journey through a thousand years of time together and explore how the conventions of Kunqu Opera are transformed on stage into a thousand different faces and roles, and observe how actors, within the norms, breathe individuality into their characters. Let us immerse ourselves in the boundless charm of traditional Chinese opera!
